That peaceful desert pause is the inspiration behind our Joshua Tree Sunset Decaf.

Sourced from the high elevations of Tolima, Colombia (1500–2100 MASL), this coffee comes from small, family owned farms dedicated to traditional and sustainable practices. Tolima is renowned for producing some of Colombia’s finest coffees, shaped by rich volcanic soils, ideal climate, and generations of resilient growers. Once deeply affected by conflict, the region has experienced renewed growth through coffee, community investment, and peace initiatives.

This lot is naturally decaffeinated using the sugarcane (ethyl acetate) process, derived from compounds found in molasses. The result is a decaf that preserves sweetness and origin character; smooth, balanced, and never flat.

Flavor Profile

This decaf is everything you want it to be: smooth, balanced, and full of flavor. At light roast, it offers notes of orange, vanilla, and honey, with a body that really carries the cup. The medium roast balances the citrus with deeper caramel-like sweetness, shortbread cookie, and a hint of citrus acidity. In the medium-dark profile, the citrus moves to the background, letting rich molasses shortbread flavors shine while still keeping a touch of brightness. The dark roast is creamy and comforting, with notes of molasses, vanilla, and cocoa. Overall, it’s an approachable and satisfying decaf from start to finish. to a medium profile, this decaf delivers comforting depth with elegant balance. It’s an approachable cup that’s perfect for winding down, watching the sky change colors, or enjoying a quiet evening by the fire.
